Bridget Fujioka
Owner & InstructorEducation: YACEP, E-RYT 200 hours, teaching since 2011.
Personal Bio: Bridget is a longtime Jersey City Heights resident who after seeing the need for yoga in her neighborhood, decided to follow her dream to start Beloved World Yoga, a community yoga studio. From her own experience of finding calm and acceptance through the practice of yoga, and extensive training and study, Bridget provides a safe space to explore your inner self.
She is a 200-hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider with training in Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, and Yoga for Backcare. She is also a Lead Trainer for BWY’s 200-hour Teacher Training Program. With the belief that conscious communities have the power to radically shift the world we live; Bridget has resolved to use her knowledge and skills to help those whose lives would be enriched by it. Bridget is also enriched by slow walks, hiking, travel, the arts, and spending time with her family and friends. She is forever grateful for the never ending support of her husband and two boys. xoxo

What has yoga taught you? Yoga has taught me to really listen to my body.

BETH
Massage Therapist & InstructorEducation: Massage Therapist since 2018, teaching since 2020.
What has yoga taught you? Yoga has taught me to show compassion for myself and others on and off the mat. My breath is always there as I meet physical, mental, emotional and spiritual challenges.

What has yoga taught you? Yoga has taught me how to be fully present. Life is much more enjoyable through it’s ups, and teachable through it’s downs, when I am able to be at peace with my mind, body, and spirit.

What styles of yoga do you teach? I love teaching power classes and blending the traditions of Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Hatha yoga while pulling in modern ideas from Katonah and Laughing Lotus. In my classes, expect to sweat!

What is yoga to you? Asana is an intentional redirection of your attention to your body and breath so that you can fully connect to your current circumstance. Yoga is the mindspace that arises from that practice.
