Food Reboot – Lifestyle Plan & Recipes

By Janel DuRoss
We are all in a paradoxical position where technology is thriving to help us be more efficient in our lives, yet we are actually burdened by so many other demands, making it challenging to keep up with all aspects of our day.  Preparing meals, food shopping and eating nutritiously is often at the bottom of our list.  Yet, if we don’t take the time to figure it out and plan ahead, ill health, disease, and weight gain tend to happen.
I enjoy cooking, creating recipes and researching health and nutrition.  My philosophy is, if you do yoga (or any other movement practice) on the outside, you need to also take care of the inside.  This strategy helps create a sustainable lifestyle, so that you can to continue to do the things you enjoy and love with excellent health.
“A goal without a plan is just a wish.”

Turmeric – super powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer due to its active ingredient Curcumin.  Abundant antioxidant to assist in over-all health of all organs.  What turmeric does to combat cancer:  block activation of genes that trigger cancer, block procreation of tumor cells, kill cells that develop into cancer and boost effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
